Rns before arriving at a satisfying conclusion "This Is A Book For You Excellent "is a book for you Excellent development including an nergetic sweet child Animals true to life Dark Awakening enhance the story A measure of healing comes through thencounters of these characters with Hawks Way (Hawks Way each other andven with the animals bringing with it hope and strength Brauva is raising an autistic daughter alone Her husband shows up only to mooch off her Her husband moves back home only when he feels another man may be trying to take his place Brauva desperately wishes for her marriage to work and allows "Him To Move Back HomeThe "to move back homeThe seemed to go on and on about Dane s the husband s faultsNot a favorite story of mineI was given an Family Men ecopy of this book to read by the publisher Kensington and Netgalley inxchange for my honest review I have been reading Lois Greiman for years She never disappoints her characters grab you and don t let go This book was no different great writing great story Worth whatever you pay for her books Thank you for hours upon hours of Creative Participation entertainment Lois We meet Bravura in the first book Hearth Stone She comes across as a very strong character dealing with an absent husband and a daughter diagnosed with Asperger s In this book her husband Dane comes home after than a year s absence He comes across as manipulative and a liar Vera however continues to makexcuses for his behavior She shows a different side to her character one that is Sabina Spielrein easily influenced by her husband s behavior and her feelings of guilt that he places on her I loved the first book but have had to force myself through this one Thending helped redeem it somewhat but what an irritating read. Despite his faults Bravura longs to make her marriage workafter all she took a vow But then Dane does the unthinkable forcing Bravura to finally face the truth about her choicesand about how deeply Tonk cares for her Once she opens her yes she just may be able to open her heart. WITH AN ELECTRONIC COPY OF THISan lectronic copy of this in Personnel Management in Government exchange for an honest reviewBravura Lambert has been raising her five year old daughter Lily on her own as her husband Dane left to find worklsewhere After a year Dane shows up unexpectedly having uit his job with nothing to show for his time away Out of This World except an impractical sports car As Dane slowly takes possession of Bravura s life he threatens to unravelverything she has worked so hard to buildAs romance and contemporary fiction go Hearth Song was middle of the road for me With a predictable plot and characters that felt flat I did not find this book to be particularly memorable The plot was not that believable as it just did not seem likely for the seuence of vents to happen as "they did Dane returned to Bravura seemingly a different person than he "did Dane returned to Bravura seemingly a different person than he which should have raised some red flags for her Bravura in that she acuiesces to her husband s whims and needs is the most realistic of the characters Dane s attitude and possessive ways were not as successful as it seemed the author made him xtra aggressive and vil to hammer home the point Although this was not the book for me readers who like romance and contemporary fiction might find it njoyable A wonderful Childrens Phantasies engaging story with warm witty characters I recommend Hearth Song toveryone who needs a heartwarming story to lift their spirit Did not hold my interest Had a hard time finishing Great As a first time reader of MsGreiman I have to say I really njoyed it It s uick light reading but yet has nough meat and substance to keep the reader from feeling they just consumed massive amounts Bravura Lambert has a daughter to raise a tumbledown house to restore and a struggling business to run She doesnt have time to cry over a husband who only shows up when he needs money She also doesnt need Tonk Redhawk a Native American artist and wild horse jockey interfering in. F fluff There are a couple of plot twists that keep this story from being all starlight and sunshine plus the writing is good nough to be competitive with other writers Also this book is 2 in a series This story "Is Beautifully Written The Author Does A "beautifully written The author does a job in writing the charactersBravura Lambert has a five year old autistic daughter Lily and a husband Dane who she has not seen since he left for a job out of town a year ago Without telling her Dane decides to just come back home and Bravura is not happy about it but he is her husband and so tries to make the best of itYou truly feel for Vura and want her to stand up to Dane who is truly an vil man My favorite character in the story is Tonk Redhawk a man who is fighting against demons of his own and still manages to be a good man Based upon this book I will be looking to read from this author My only issue is that
THE OVERALL STORY HAS TO MANYoverall story has to many of his misdeeds and of his need to lie her time after timeFrom my perspective I really didn t like that he was so willing to not be honest with the woman he is supposed to love There was Gods and Heroes enough romance to keep it interesting but the relationships and struggles of the characters are what made it she did a great job of getting inside the characters and making the reader feel what the characters were feelingBooks like this often have plot twists sometimes the author gets it right sometimes not In this case not only does Lois Greiman get s it right she turns it up a notch I don t want to give away the surprise at thend because it really create a very creative and powerful nding but if you like a story that twists you in a dozen tu. Her life So what if hes charming and helpful and makes her autistic five year old giggle until she cant stand up Bravuras husband Dane was once all those things too When Dane returns to find Tonks horses in Bravuras pasture and his tools in her shed he insists on moving back home.
